This document applies to the websites operated by HavenPoint Retirement Strategies, LLC, including havenpointretirement.com and its subdomains (such as go.havenpointretirement.com and schedule.havenpointretirement.com) and myoldretirement.com (together, the "Site").
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how HavenPoint Retirement Strategies, LLC ("HavenPoint," "we," "us") handles personal information when you visit the Site, take a quiz or assessment, schedule a consultation, or otherwise interact with us. By using the Site or submitting your information, you accept the practices described below. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you fill out a form, complete a quiz or questionnaire, schedule a consultation, or contact us, we may collect: full name; email address; phone number; state of residence; retirement account type (such as 401(k), 403(b), 457, IRA, Roth IRA, or pension); your responses to quiz or assessment questions (such as your age range, marital status, retirement timeline, financial concerns, planning priorities, and approximate savings range); and any other information you choose to share during a consultation or in written communications with us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect: IP address and approximate geographic location; browser type, operating system, and device information; pages viewed, time spent on pages, and referring URLs; and cookie and pixel data described in Section 5.
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising platforms when you click on or interact with our advertisements; from our scheduling tools when you book a consultation; and from referral sources, including past clients or business partners who refer you to us.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiries and schedule consultations; provide retirement planning education and discuss insurance and annuity products; prepare educational materials personalized to the answers you provide; communicate with you by email, phone, or text message about your consultation or services; improve the Site, our marketing, and the quality of our services; comply with legal, regulatory, and licensing requirements applicable to insurance professionals; and protect against fraud, unauthorized activity, and security risks.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the circumstances below.
Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Site and our business, including customer relationship management platforms, scheduling tools, email and text messaging providers, video messaging providers, and hosting and analytics providers. These vendors are contractually required to protect your information and use it only to perform services for us.
Insurance carriers and submission partners. If you decide to apply for an insurance or annuity product through us, we share information with the issuing carrier as required to complete your application. That sharing is governed by the privacy practices of the carrier issuing the product.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or regulatory investigation, or to protect our legal rights and the safety of others.
Business transfers. If HavenPoint is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity subject to this Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to recognize your device, remember preferences, and analyze how the Site is used. The tools in active use are: essential cookies required for the Site to function; analytics tools that show how visitors use the Site; and the Meta Pixel, which measures the performance of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram and helps display relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some Site features. You can also opt out of Meta advertising tracking through your Facebook ad preferences.
6. Text Messaging Consent
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages and phone calls from HavenPoint about your inquiry, scheduled consultation, or services. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or contact us using the information at the end of this policy. Opting out of text messaging does not affect other communications you have requested.
7. Email Communications
If you provide your email address, you may receive emails from HavenPoint with educational content, consultation confirmations, and retirement planning information. Every email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by contacting us directly.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations (including state insurance recordkeeping requirements, which extend several years past the end of a client relationship), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; access or obtain a copy of it; request deletion subject to legal exceptions; correct inaccurate information; opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising; limit use of sensitive personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense.
Texas residents (TDPSA) have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling.
Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), and Connecticut (CTDPA) residents have similar rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising.

11. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is always posted on the Site with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
